Young Talent Program: Transition from Intern to Trainee

Intern

  • Contract Type: Not an apprenticeship contract, but a standard internship agreement (convenio) with the university.
  • Target Profile: Students pursuing engineering degrees, primarily related to software or with an IT focus.
  • Requirements: Minimum English proficiency level of B2; must be located anywhere in Colombia; must be officially approved by their university to complete a professional internship/placement. * Duration: 1 year.

Trainee

  • Progression Path: Interns are prospected for continuity to transition into a Trainee role upon completion of their internship.

My journey at Holcim, starting in August 2020, has been an accelerated path from cloud application migration (AWS) to global leadership. After solidifying my Agile management skills as a Manufacturing Application Specialist, I quickly moved into leadership, serving as Product Delivery Manager, coordinating cloud infrastructure teams to accelerate business solutions.

What motivates me most is Holcim's dynamism, where every transformation project is a challenge and an opportunity for positive influence on processes and people. I enjoy seeing my ideas turn into real initiatives that deliver tangible value.
